Kia ora bloggers, in Te Ngahere we have recently been using an app called Education perfect to learn how to pronounce Maori words correctly. I learned how to pronounce alot of maori words like Otautau and that means Christchurch. I thought this was an amazing idea because this could help us throughout the year because we are slowly learning how to speak Te reo maori. I really enjoyed learning how to pronounce these words correctly because I could go home and teach my family what I learned and use it to teach them. I found it tricky for some words to pronounce correctly but I got there in the end. Have you learned how to pronounce maori words correctly in your classroom?
