Fun Mosaic Art.

Kia ora bloggers, in Te Ngahere we have recently been creating our own mosaic art to go with our Ngahere QR codes. During my time creating mine I learned how to use the polly line correctly. I thought this was a great opportunity to learn how to use different types tools to create our mosaic art. I kind of found this frustrating because everytime I stopped my line three times all of my lines would just disappear. But the positive side of this subject I enjoyed doing was able to learn something new.

Have you ever created your own mosaic art before during your time at school???

Keep up the great work!!!

Lessons Around Being Safe Online.

Kia ora bloggers, in Te Ngahere we have recently been learning how to be safe using our time online apps like instagram, tiktok, snapchat and games. So in other words any kind of apps that you are able to talk to other people. We watched a video of someone not being safe online. Because she talked to someone she didn’t know, And told him  personal information like her email address and phone number. But lucky she was smart and realized that she was doing something wrong. So she pushed the (report abuse) button on the app and the person she didn’t know went to jail. I learned that it's not good talking to strangers we don’t know on online. My reason is because we have no idea if they are who they say they are or if they live near you. To be honest I used to talk to strangers on online games until the teachers asked us if we are going to change something, so I changed by stop talking to strangers on online games. I enjoyed learning about this because we can teach other people to not talk to strangers on online games and apps. There was nothing I didn't enjoy because this is something that taught me how to be safe while I’m online.

Here is a good tip:

Don’t take photos of yourself in your school uniform and post it because they can just find your school and find you.

Do you think you are always being safe during your time online???

Exciting Fun Technology

Kia ora bloggers, on Tuesday the year 8, year 7’s and I went to Moerewa to do technology again. In Mr Edwards class, which I’m in we were carrying on with our own waka that we started making. I was filing my frame for my waka, and I was filing it to hard and then sadly my frame broke. So I had to restart. I learned that when we are filing or using sandpaper to file our waka, if you file it to hard it will break. And I know for a fact because I speak from experience. To make sure I don’t break mine again I now know to file it nice and softley. I enjoyed technology this week because I was able to learn something and that's good because I learned from my mistake. I didn’t enjoy restarting because I didn’t want to be the only one that's behind. But lucky it only took me like 4mins to catch up because I knew what I was doing. Have you ever had a project and you had to restart?
